I caught this delightful shot when I went to a musical petting zoo with my niece last summer. It was our first outing with just the two of us. I was a nervous wreck, but we both had a great time!

I have to ask--what on earth is a musical petting zoo?
I would think that *animals* would be nervous wrecks with the child's brass section within close range! Yes, do tell...what is a musical petting zoo?
A musical petting zoo is a dispay of a variety of musical instruments set up so that the children can see, touch and try to play the them. It's part of one of the children in the arts progams they do in Austin. She particularly liked the viloin, because just the night before her grandmother had played her violin for her.
Oooooh, I see! There are no *animals*; the 'zoo' is the instruments. Got it!
