Buoyancy

This whole pregnancy has at times made me seriously wonder if I am bipolar. According to one of the books I read my current hormonal level is about ten times its normal level, plus I’ve always been somebody that’s been a little more moody then most. So that may explain some of it.

Well, today I am in utterly unexplainable bliss. I have no idea why. Perhaps I’m getting in the holiday spirit or something. All I know is, I feel totally unflappable and after a month or two of flapping all over the place this is a strange, but pleasant feeling.

I finally mixed up my first batch of cookies, Mexican Wedding Cakes, which are one of the favorites around here. Texans have a true passion for anything including pecans. However, it’s going to be a busy couple of days, so I’m not sure when I’ll actually have the opportunity to bake them.

They also had our employee appreciation party today, which was nice. Of course, I didn’t get to spend a lot of time there because I working, however I still got my name put in the raffle and won a vibrating happy massager, of sorts. What more could a pregnant lady want? It’s the silly things that put a smile on my face.

I hope all that stop by are feeling as good.

It's good to see you back again!

I made my first batch of cookies today-peanut butter kisses. Liam is really into baking this year and we're having fun. Tomorrow I'm making sand tarts, which is what my granny called them and seem to be basically the same as the Mexican wedding cookies, only without cinnamon (but I'll be adding the cinnamon now-it sounds great).

Merry Christmas, Lora!

Glad to hear you're feeling so good! I watched my daughter go through two pregnancies and can well remember those blissful periods punctuated by dark mood swings. As you get closer to the end of the pregnancy, you'll begin "nesting"...it's lots of fun..enjoy it while you can lol!

Hope you've had a great Christmas...congrats on hubby's new job. I'm sure things will work out somehow for you, too ;~)

I felt better than ever when I was pregnant (except of course the first trimester and the last when you tend to get tired). Even my Chronic Fatigue type issues felt improved. Enjoy!
