They got the results back from my urine collect back a little sooner then I expected. My doctor’s assistant called this afternoon to let me know that in fact that they I am discharging protein and that the protein levels are high. Not good. This means that I have, in fact, gone pre-eclampsic, which can get quite serious.
Since I’m not having any more extreme symptoms, they aren’t pulling me into the hospital tonight. I have an office visit first thing in the morning. I was told to bring my packed bags. They will see then how close I am into going into labor on my own and make the decision on whether or not to induce me. Either way I will be delivering soon because the only way to stop its progression is delivery and if medicine doesn’t take care of it then my body will.
If they don’t emit me to the hospital tomorrow, I will be sure to check back in quickly. Otherwise, I’ll be busy having a baby.
