I was exposed to a new cocktail last night, which frankly doesn't happen that often anymore. Not that I drink a lot, it just comes with being in the business.
It's called a Mojito and it's a wonderful drink on a hot and humid day, light and refreshing. I would add to this link that instead of making a simple syrup, our bartender just used a teaspoon of powdered or confectionary sugar.
I think I have now found a very nice use for my fresh mint.

I've not heard of Mojito before. And sorry to be off the topic, but you've been tagged.
P.S. I like the changes you've made to your blog.
I've heard of the mojito, but I didn't know what it was made of. Now that I know, I will drink one somewhere, as I love rum and mint both. Michele sent me.
Thanks Catez, I'm glad you like it. And thanks for the tag. I'll get it up tomorrow for me, I guess that would be the a. m. hours of Monday for you.
30 years after a very very bad experience with a bottle of Bacardi made me give rum up for all time, Mojitos may make me go back. That sounds sooo good.
