For all I tease my husband about his single-minded fixation on mechanical objects, I have to say that I really appreciate his talents. Some girls get flowers. Instead, I have the peace of mind of knowing that any and every mechanical or structural problem in my life will be taken care of efficiently and with ease. If that ain’t romantic, I don’t know what is.
