I spent so much time playing with links and the image on the last post that I didn’t leave myself time to say much about my first day on the job. Today was lots of paperwork shuffling and tomorrow will be more of the same. I found out that I have to report at 6:30 in the morning this Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday! Then back to evenings next week, I think. My body it going to be so confused. I’m anxious to actually get started working with the kids, but that’s not until Friday. Patience.

- While I'm loving life in the Austin area, I mainly grew up in the Hudson Valley of New York. I’m a 38 year old INFP married to a very handy INTJ. We have a three year old that keeps life interesting and full of meaning, a little girl in the womb and a 9 year old puppy. I tend to take a Zen approach to life and, at least mentally, I’m always going off on one tangent or another. This really is just a hodge-podge of whatever’s on my mind at the moment with little rhyme or reason.

It's always hard when you start a new place--but you know it'll get better soon. I think I missed something somewhere along the line, though--what are you doing now?
