You Are 59% American |
Though sometimes the good ole US of A makes you cringe Still, you know there's no place better suited to be your home. You love your freedom and no one's going to take it away from you! |
The funny thing is that the fact that I vote in every election makes me less American then if I didn't vote at all and by the way I can't stand hot dogs.
After finding the above quiz, I had to go looking for some more blatantly Americentric quizzes in celebration of Independence Day on the 4th of July. I found this one appealing. Click the image above and it will take you to an American Culture Quiz created by Germans.
Unfortunately, I couldn't get it to score through Firefox, although it worked fine through Internet Explorer. In case it doesn't work for you the answers are here and you can self-score. I only scored 16 out of 20 myself. I'll be incredible embarrassed if somebody from overseas scores better.
This is a shot I took out my car window not that long ago. The sight of my nation's flag blowing in the breeze on a clear and sunny day makes it hard not to feel patriotic, of course it would still look much better with a New York flag next to it, but the Texas flag is growing on me. Have a wonderful Fouth of July!

I'm 48% American. I think it's because I liked wine better than beer, and Brie better than American cheese.
Anyway, Happy 4th!
I must confess that when I first took the test I came up at 49%, but I was trying to create a patriotic feel. So I went back in and answered things as high scoring as I could and still be truthful.
They actually considered wine to be more American then dark beer.
Hello, Michele sent me.
I (a Brit) will take this.
Oooh, I only got 46% American, but the description of my results was totally off- I certainly do not have a take it leave it feel about this country! It must have been the brie that threw off my results. :)
Happy 4th!
I can't believe only 5% of Americans have a passport! Incredible!
LOL, well I did the first quiz and it said I'm 13% American, and belong in Cairo or Paris. I suppose that's about right - we're much closer to Cairo than we are to the USA!
I did the other one (which didn't score in Firefox for me either - so annoying when people don't make their quizzes compatible with all browsers) and got 10 out of 20. A lot of my answers were guesses, though.
