I lived in Tomall Texas for 7 years. I got hooked on this salt spice called "Lantana." Can you believe I still order it by the 12 pack? Hey, my book meme is up now.
I'm a native Texan, and love lantana. It was my grandmother's favorite flowering plant, and seeing it always reminds me of her. It doesn't grow in Seattle, where I live now, and I'm rarely back in Texas during its blooming season. Thanks for sharing the photo!
While I'm loving life in the Austin area, I mainly grew up in the Hudson Valley of New York. I’m a 38 year old INFP married to a very handy INTJ. We have a three year old that keeps life interesting and full of meaning, a little girl in the womb and a 9 year old puppy. I tend to take a Zen approach to life and, at least mentally, I’m always going off on one tangent or another. This really is just a hodge-podge of whatever’s on my mind at the moment with little rhyme or reason.

Beautiful. Thanks for sharing, Lora.
How gorgeous! It ought to do well here but I haven't seen anything like that with the two different colours. Sue

They come in a variety of colors and are all over the place here. They are native to the area and are very low maintaince.

How beautiful! I love lantana. I once saw them growing wild in Hawaii, all along the side of the road up to Waimea Canyon. They were gorgeous.
Michele sent me!
