I lived in Tomall Texas for 7 years. I got hooked on this salt spice called "Lantana." Can you believe I still order it by the 12 pack? Hey, my book meme is up now.

They come in a variety of colors and are all over the place here. They are native to the area and are very low maintaince.

I'm a native Texan, and love lantana. It was my grandmother's favorite flowering plant, and seeing it always reminds me of her. It doesn't grow in Seattle, where I live now, and I'm rarely back in Texas during its blooming season. Thanks for sharing the photo!

How beautiful! I love lantana. I once saw them growing wild in Hawaii, all along the side of the road up to Waimea Canyon. They were gorgeous.
